Unless you actually saw the amount of work they do in an 8 hour shift. The strikers have some legitimate gripes....Im directly affected by the Jeep layoffs....Jeep has hundreds of temp workers (they call them SE's) that have been temps for 6 & 7 years at $17 per hour or roughly the same as a McDonalds worker nowadays...That would be my biggest gripe 2 workers in the same assembly plant doing the same exact job making vastly different pay rates & benefits....Thats Bullshit..
No agency....Different pay rates & benefits they call it Tiers....That s an issue temps need to take up with agency. UAW and their wage demands has forced Ford and others to hire outside companies. $33 is average hourly rate? With benefits?
That would be my biggest gripe 2 workers in the same assembly plant doing the same exact job making vastly different pay rates & benefits....That's Bullshit.. Talk to agency?
I see the work they do Ive hauled parts to the plant & go in sometimes....Usually its 10 hrs a day sometimes 7 days a week at least at Chrysler thats the way it is...They vote Democrat mostly I guess but not all....Full speed the plant puts out about 1 vehicle a minute...Unless you actually saw the amount of work they do in an 8 hour shift.
The most ridiculous, inefficient labor franchise in the history of labor....exactly why they vote Democrat.
In the past I was manager in a place that had a two-tier wage system. Top senority heavy union agreed to it and received 5 extra years credit on retirements and many left. Worse thing that could ever happen. Demoralized the work force, pitted employees against each other, and we couldn't keep good people. About 8 years of that shit and it was thrown out, back to everybody on the same plane. No agency....Different pay rates & benefits they call it Tiers....
Tiers sounds like ranking, longer been there more pay and benefits with each step (tier)? Never heard of working 32 hours getting paid for 40? imagine 32 is considered Full time with benefits. Maybe they can work 31 hours and get paid for 39 and pay for their own health ins and no paid holidays... Just saying... Exactly Vegas .... in-house BS. Nobdy on different level too many Chiefs not enough indians......No agency....Different pay rates & benefits they call it Tiers....
I doubt they're going to get a 32 hr work week but I think the tiers have to go....Remains to be seen I guess...Tiers sounds like ranking, longer been there more pay and benefits with each step (tier)? Exactly what’s been happening at Chrysler for years…In the past I was manager in a place that had a two-tier wage system.
Why so needy? On the flip side…Average Joe works 32 hours for 16 hours pay and these greedy SOB want everything except to have to work for their pay? If the UAW get what they want people won't be able to afford the cars they assemble! Go Reds!
